Biokeralty is pleased to announce the launch of the official website of the TEN4CARE project (Tendon Engineering for Comprehensive Advanced Rehabilitation and Enhancement). The website will serve as the central platform for sharing the project’s objectives, progress, and outcomes with all our key audiences.

About TEN4CARE

TEN4CARE is an ambitious 48-month innovation project financed by the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme under grant agreement No. 101178590. The project is coordinated by Università Degli Studi Di Pavia (UNIPV) and brings together a multidisciplinary consortium of 16 partners from 7 countries.

The main aim of TEN4CARE is to revolutionize the treatment of tendon injuries through innovative, minimally invasive, and personalized solutions. A pioneering medical device is currently under development, based on an electromagnetic-responsive shape memory 4D nanocomposite fibrous hydrogel. This advanced material is designed to combine enhanced structural properties, shape memory, antibacterial activity, and regenerative capabilities, driven by external forces like magnetic and electric fields. The goal is to tackle health complexities linked to tendon disorders, promoting rapid recovery for acute or chronic conditions.

Biokeralty’s Role in Management and Communication

Biokeralty plays a key role in the management and communication framework of the project.

  • Coordination and Management: Biokeralty jointly leads the Coordination Work Packages (WP13, WP14 and WP15) together with the University of Pavia.
  • Communication and Engagement: As leader of WP11 and 12, BK oversees the project’s communication and dissemination activities and contributes to stakeholder engagement. Our work aims to ensure a coherent communication strategy at internal, local, and European levels, using channels such as social media and the newly launched website. Besides, through WP11 and WP12, the perspective of patients and the public will be captured and integrated into the co-design of TEN4CARE, ensuring the innovation is acceptable and effective for end-users.

We invite you to explore the official TEN4CARE website to stay informed about the project’s latest developments: https://ten4care-project.eu/
