Biokeralty has actively participated in the 12th International Congress on Primary Health Care: Innovating to Care, organised by Keralty, a leading forum for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on the transformation of health systems.
During the event, which brought together professionals, researchers and leaders from the health sector, key topics were addressed, such as comprehensive and integrated care, emerging technologies, the management of chronic non-communicable diseases, community empowerment and the well-being of human talent in health.
👩⚕️ Representing Biokeralty, Oihane Ibarrola offered a presentation entitled ‘Transforming Primary Health Care through Knowledge and Innovation Biokeralty/KAI’, in which she presented two European Union-funded research projects in which Biokeralty is actively involved:
🔹 OPADE (Optimise and predict antidepressant efficacy for patients suffering from major depressive disorders using multi-omics analysis and AI-predictive tool): seeks to identify key biomarkers that support healthcare professionals’ decision-making in the treatment of major depressive disorders.
🔹 CARAMEL (CArdiovascular Risk Assessment in MEnopausaL women via multimodal data analysis enabling personalized prevention strategies), its main objective is to develop and validate an innovative model of personalised prevention aimed at women aged 40 to 60 for cardiovascular disease (CVD).
Biokeralty’s participation in this conference reinforces its commitment to innovation, applied research, and continuous improvement of healthcare models.
